"I cannot recommend Lipsnitch Snilly. I am too jealous. It is made of sentences that are too good. It is a dark and twisty labyrinth of absurdity, veined with dry wit. Steven T. Gibbon should not be allowed to keep these sentences for himself. He should be exiled from town, and his sentences should be redistributed to the rest of us poor bastards with keyboards, so we will feel better about ourselves." -Scott Lynch, New York Times bestselling author of The Gentleman Bastard Sequence
"Steven T. Gibbon's Lipsnitch Snilly is one of the most unique and engaging fantasy novels I've read in recent years. Wonderful writing that makes you feel immediately at home in a strange, fabulist world, and characters that, although odd, remind us of the people in our lives. For readers who love something different." -Jeffrey Ford, Nebula and World Fantasy Award-winning author of Pandemonium Waltz
"Steven T. Gibbon delivers a wickedly funny and wonderfully weird tale sure to delight readers seeking satirical fantasy. The goat man Lipsnitch is an ignoble hero, but it's difficult not to root for him as he bumbles his way from one misadventure to another with his companion, a chubby crow named Gary. While reminiscent of the deadpan humor of Discworld and the absurdism of Dungeon Crawler Carl, I haven't read anything quite like it before."-Justine Lombardi, author of No Man's Daughter
"Lipsnitch Snilly is full of quirky characters, many of them dangerous, and some of them dangerous to people other than themselves. Snilly himself is the quirkiest with his goal of becoming the toughest, coolest guy ever, without understanding all the forces against him, and he doesn't realize he is the center of a slowly unraveling mystery." -Robert E. Harpold, author of When the Gods Are Away and The Starship, from a Distance

The Author
Steven T. Gibbon is a writer, poet, game designer, artist, and loving father to several beautiful, hairy children. He and his wife live happily in a little gremlin hole in the woods of Midcoast Maine.

The Cover Artist
A true fan and friend of boogeymen, Devin Forst is a Pennsylvania-born illustrator with a penchant for the dark and unnatural. Devin grew up running through the woods in search of monsters, reading dark fairy tales, and watching a slew of fantastical films such as Labyrinth and Hocus Pocus…so it’s no wonder his work is teeming with wild magic and mystery. Outside of his growing Instagram presence, he has conjured up designs for Creep-O-Rama and Wicked Clothes, illustrated horror tales for Penguin Random House, Macmillan, Illumicrate, & Twisted Retreat, and is the creator of Witches Through History: Grimoire & Oracle Deck, published by Rizzoli. When he's not making art, he can usually be found crouched in a dark room in front of a lit candle. Devin’s greatest wish is that his work might inspire other people to celebrate the magic that can be found all around us, and appreciate the unique beauty in the darker and more mysterious aspects of life. With artwork that's been described as "menacing melancholy," "gothic grit" and "witchery, with attitude," perhaps it can inspire you too to delve a bit deeper into the dark.
